Bali Moments- The Untold Story

Taking a break frm job hunting, let me talk about Bali after getting pics frm Fion. Tq so much
This post has been due for quite some time, but i hope to blog it out
So that if one day, if i forget, i can still read back, and rmb how much you guys meant to me

The booking of air tickets had been very random.
When it was booked, we were only told that, air tickets had been booked but there was no venue and no dates
We only knew it was to Bali when Ivan posted the air tickets in fb
Yuwen was very very very excited.
She packed weeks before the day. Even though we were busy about thesis, lab work, exams etc etc
Almost everyone was planning to finish thesis during the semester break.
But we went for a holiday. Haha. Final year, final sem break :)
We kept our holiday plans a secret. They were surprised.

On the 7th of April 2012, Xinyee fetched me to her house and all of us departed from UPM

Pity some of Yuwen's liquid products were disposed cz they exceeded the 100ml allowable for hand luggage o.O Nvm can buy new ones :)

First night in Bali. Hey Bali :)

We stayed at Dana Guest House and it was like a homestay experience

Two/three of us in one small cottage in which each small cottage, there's a bed, a tv, and its own toilet

But there's only cold water in the toilet.. so everyone's fighting for hot water in the public toilet outside

But 1st night i could barely sleep..

Because while i was about to sleep, the rooster started to give good morning calls =.=

Good morning 1st Day at Bali :) 

Breakfast XD We had this for 3 consecutive mornings. Haha.
Start to feel hungry now hmmmph.. 

Departure XD 

Our motorcycle gang. Yupp. We travelled across Bali on motorcycles for 2 and half days

Never sat motorcycle for so many consecutive hours.. thanks dailou for fetching me :) 

Luckily it didnt rain but we were sunburnt

First stop: To a famous statue by the roadside.

 Actually we passed this last night on the way back to the guesthouse from the airport but didnt stop by

Parked our bikes by the roadside and crossed the road for pictures

However it was hot hot hot and we only managed a few, and this was one of them.

Next, to Blue Point.

Beautiful place for surfing. I wana learn surfing! 

However, first, i need to learn how to swim properly. Haha. Why i stil cant swim til now. ZzZ

There, we too got ourselves some souvenirs- sunglasses and slippers. Haha

Sunglasses needed due to the sandy roads .. lotsa sand flew into my eyes T-T 

After biking for so long, time for lunch and some drinks XD 

Then, we went to Uluwatu, if not mistaken. lol. 

We were each given a cloth for respect..

Walau.. they were more hiao than us. Haha

Had some coconut before we were off to another destination XD 

Rm5 per coconut.. so expensive.. but its a tourist destination.. so kayy

Somewhere on the way back, we saw this place and decided to take pics

One thing being on bikes was that we could stop whenever we wanted:)

Next, we stopped at a beach. This picture was so nice.

But Shin, Yuwen and I were missing cz we decided to go food hunting 

Got some nice local food but missed out on shots.. haha. 

Hmm. Worth it cz we were hungry that time.. travelling burnt lotsa energy

Sunset. Indescribable by words. 

Ended the day with dinner nearby our guest house.

 We saw Starbucks, and lots of big food chain outlets at the supermarkets. 

We got lost on our way back T_T and spent lots of time around the area but couldnt find our house

So when we reached, we were super tired and they were waiting for turns for hot water bath

All of a sudden, there was no electricity and the whole guest house was pitch black

And Shin was bathing.. haha. he was the last one

Due to it being dark, we couldnt see a thing and decided to wait

He thought we purposely off his lights and was calling for us not to fool him

He called and hello-ed but no one answered his pleas. 

Pity him but we couldnt stop laughing... haha 

2nd morning in Bali.. =)

We woke up super early to see the beach before breakfast

They said its just like a poster. Did you agree? :) 

They took many shots of kungfu fighting in the air. They were geng. Haha. 

Anyway

This time, we observed the surroundings carefully so that we wouldnt get lost again that night

Off for shopping for souvenirs in Sukawati in which we got Bali tshirts for everyone :) 

However, the journey there on bike took a long time.. 

They were great at bargaining lol couldnt help but feel sorry though

Cz actually what they sold was ad cheaper than what we could find in Malaysia

But we kept bargaining and they had no choices but to accept our negotiations

Their profit margins were sure to decrease. Sorry, but we were students on a budget trip

Hopefully by buying in bulk, you guys would feel better :)

Next destination, to Tanah Lot to watch sunset

Once again, there's a blackout

And it happened while Shin was bathing again~ hahaha

But this time, he didnt dare to call us

But anyway, we were laughing 

And for the consecutive nights, we didnt dare to bathe while he was in the bathroom lol

Good morning Bali day 3 xD 

They went to the local market early and bought us some local breakfast XD

And we were writing postcards to one another

They wanted to post them on the way to Ubud

Later in the morning, we surrendered our bikes and turned to cars yay

And we left for another town for another 3 days and 2 more nights

29 June 2012 Hours 0033

p/s Suddenly remembered- 2 yrs back, on this date, there was one significant event added to ur timeline. How time flies :)

Why?

Really too sudden.

What did i like about you?

I dont know why, every song reminds me of you.

I start listening to the radio station you listen to, so that we will be listening to the same songs. Stupid right. I admit.

Hope this feeling will fade sooner 

Cz its suffocating to feel so much at the same time when the future is uncertain.

But anyway, at the same time, i am secretly glad when you didnt rply her.

But now, looking for a job is my first priority.
Same goes with you :) 

If we're destined to part ways, there's nothing i can do about it, except to accept.

Because now, i am too weak to make a difference
And i hope you wont read this, because i know this post is crazy.
I dont know if this post is crazy, or im crazy.
Or perhaps both.

June 25 2012 Hours 2210

Uncertainty

Life is .. full of uncertainties

Perhaps i should rephrase

I am full with uncertainty when i have many factors to consider

Sometimes, i wonder why i want to consider so many things

How nice will it be if i should just follow my heart and challenge myself

But i cant. 

The factors, are there and will always be there. 

Ignorance is not bliss. Ignorance is- hurting other ppl's feelings.

What i wanted- and what is in store in reality- is totally different

I cant say im a big dreamer, my expectations arent high

But still, at the end of the day, 

I dont know which road i should take.

Let me say what i wanted. Haha. Daydreaming is not a crime, isnt it?

I wanted a job with salary enough for me to have savings after car, hse installments, petrol, family, and for dining and shopping

Hopefully, the car wil be bigger and more stylish as i work. 

Most importantly- friendly colleagues and happy lifestyle
Overseas travelling! I love to see the world. But not alone, definitely

Stress is okay but not every day for 365 days

Working days of 5 days with time for me to relax and enjoy my weekends

Because we work for living, and enjoying life is part of living too :P

Most of the times, for the things i do, i dont like to explain the significance to other people.

Especially things that im unsure of, justifications make me suffocate 

Probably becz im unsure, therefore i duno how to make my stand

i dont know where im standing

How nice if i can just strike lottery tmr

And dont need to work for the rest of my life for the reason of survival

Working for pleasure- 

I believe this is the best you can dream of.

However, dreams remain dreams, and reality remains reality

There's a dimension between them,

Which will forever exist, no matter how closely related they may be.

Dilemma!

4 Years With Them

Dont know why, after coming back from gathering ystdy

I began to feel emotional. Fion's fault! Keep bringing us back into memory lane

But what she said was true. We were going to leave one another soon

Heading towards our own path. And even if we saw one another,

Things would never be the same again as we take diff paths.

Let me blog this post, from a view of a final year bachelor undergraduate

I rmb, the first day here, was a Sunday. I was super early bcz daddy and mummy were anxious lol

The first coursemate i met, i was told, was dailou. 

We were filling forms together but we didnt greet one another. Probably bcz i was arrogant. Or i was still getting used to the surrounding. I didnt rmb. All i cared about was.. another friend. Who no longer mattered.

And since i was early, i got a room at the first floor. haha. Happy

Becz i was lazy.. the hill was ad so high up. i was grateful not needing to climb up floors

My first roommate i met was Liyana. cz the other two were seniors who were still on sem break

Orientation week was depressing. I rmb i cried and cried. I felt so lost. I didnt know who i was and why i was there. I tried so hard to fit in. But i couldnt. Becz of language barrier? I didnt know

And without internet, i was even more depressed. I had no close friends. I saw everyone having their own coursemates roommates in which they could take classes together with. But i had no one.

And so we met our academic advisor. Haha. She told us that since our course code is 37, therefore we had to take classes of group 37. And so we searched high and low for class with code 37. And left isolated except for some classes which clashed, and the grp was changed secretly.

On the very first day of class, i wore a very formal shirt, and set out to take the bus alone.

 Asked someone for directions, and in one of the classes, physics, i met jaiboon and xinting.

I am so grateful for their presence and for treating me as a friend. Never got the chance to thank you. Thank you so much for being there when it matters the most

In Hubungan etnik, i met yuwen who was also alone in dr lee yok fee's class. haha. Secretly, i actually found his class interesting. And in kenegaraan, i met fion and weeting. I think there were more, but i couldnt rmb im sorry. At that time, we liked to go out in gangs. 

But later, we started to go separate ways. 

Oh yeah, and we had coursenight. First year coursenight in which we met our seniors. 

I met my direct senior and my super super direct senior. Thanks Ray for all the notes and being so kind. 

I rmb i had the most complete set of lab reports. Feel so grateful for your presence =) 

For first year coursenight, i rmb wearing a super super ugly dress. What made me buy it, lol

Perhaps there were more to first year but now for stories of second and third year..
Too many stories to tell but not today so decided to post pics

And then we also went to Klang to find fish.. and went to Icity for the first time. Tq so much =) 

 And then we also went for MIFB 2010 where we ate and ate a lot

Final Year..

Many many many things changed and was never the same again

and there were many moments when i just felt like giving up

Especially when lab work was never ending and stress value was at the max

Thank you laukahyan! for sharing my worries and giving me hmm solutions lol

and thanks friends for those Rm300++ gatherings haha money is well spent because i treasure every moment spend with all of you

Pray hard for viva now that seminar's over, god bless.
